THE LEGACY LACROSSE CUP

BO JACKSON

Bo Jackson has experienced many different successes in his life. He is most proud of his role as Husband and father to his family.

Bo is father to Emily, a 22-year-old fourth year student at Georgia Tech, Parker, his son in Heaven, and Ben, age 15, and a sophomore at Milton. Bo has been married for 25 years to Lauren Jackson.

Sports have been a central role in Bo’s life. Bo grew up playing multiple sports in the Northeast Prep Schools before selecting hockey as his collegiate sport. He believes strongly that sports offer great application to life and searches for opportunities to illustrate how sports provide life lessons and keys to success.

When Parker died as a sophomore in 2006, it presented a choice and challenge for Bo to again discover a life lesson out of such a sudden tragedy. How to turn devastation into an opportunity?

The Legacy Lacrosse Cup is created to honor and reflect Parker’s passion for lacrosse, gift of friendship and strong faith. Parker’s life and death have impacted many people in the Atlanta area. People’s lives have been changed because of their relationship with Parker. Bo’s vision is for the Legacy Lacrosse Cup to inspire and impact each participant so they can be a difference maker, positively influencing other people’s lives.

This is our third Lacrosse Cup.
